Numerous buildings of the 'old' farm site we are located at have been moved to provide the framework for our business and residence.  Prairie Scapes is taking over most of the development.  The site will always be home to our business; however, the zoning of our property may soon be under reconsideration.  

Quite a bit of paint has been put on and fences rebuilt.  But none of that is what you want to hear.  You want to learn about the landscaping.

The construction is in the works. Project work for 2006  will involve considerable changes to the entry from Secondary 587.  A bit of dirt work, some fencing changes and the application of good landscaping principles will showcase our work in retaining walls, interlocking paving stones, low voltage lighting, and landscape design.

A Pdf format file (1.7MB - same file as the header) shows the design for the central area of our site.  Be sure to use magnification to see some of the detail.   The area shown is directly north of our home / office, and north of two garden sheds that are shown in the plan. The shop/barn is the building shown at the top.

 

A second pdf format file (1.2MB) shows the design for our entrance off Secondary 587.  The entrance gate will be an appealing welcome to our business.  Attractive plantings and wall will feature our 'Prairie Scapes' sign to the west.  Be sure to check out the Rockies a bit more west of our sign.

 

A second phase will see the water garden construction, deck construction, pathways and fencing.

          1166 Hwy 587 - 1 Km. west on Secondary 587 from Queen Elizabeth II (just west of Bowden past the CPR overpass, on north side of highway).
By appointment only.  Call us first.  Sometimes we are all away for most of the day attending to business away from the office.
